We hope that you are enjoying teaching and enhancing your students’ GK, awareness and current affairs learning using the ‘Empowering GK with Global Jigyasa’ text book for Grade 1!
The Global Jigyasa Online Teacher Portal 🌍 for Grade 1 provides you with many additional teaching aids including additional teachers’ notes and chapter wise instructional videos.
In addition, it also has all the sections that have been provided on the Global Jigyasa Online Students Portal for Grade 1– Extra Questions (per chapter); Weekly Current Affairs Quizzes (for Grade 1); and Answer Keys.
The 6 sections of the GJ Online Teacher Portal are as follows:
- Extra Questions (per chapter) ❓: There are additional questions for every chapter in the GK book which provide students with a chance to further test their GK and quizzing abilities while enhancing their learning!
- Weekly Current Affairs Quizzes 📰(for Grade 1): Every week, a new quiz will be uploaded in this section. It will have 10 questions (with 4 options each), related to the happenings of the world in that week. Students are encouraged to solve these quizzes to keep abreast with current affairs. For each grade, questions and content in these weekly current affairs quizzes is age relevant.
- Answer Keys 🔠: The answer keys for each chapter in the book have been provided in this section.
- Teachers’ Notes 📝: This section provides more detailed notes for each chapter that can be used by teachers while conducting the classroom sessions. While the book has very short notes, this section elaborates on different objectives, outcomes and teaching methods for each section.
- Instructional Videos 📽: This section has grade specific YouTube videos developed by Anansh Prasad, the author of this GK book series and Founder and MD – SkillSphere Education. These videos provide more insights related to the topics in the GK book and modes that can be used to teach them.
- GJ Weekly Current Affairs Quizzes (for Adults) 🌏: Every week on Sunday, SkillSphere Education also prepares a 10-question current affairs quiz related to the happenings of the week. This quiz is for adults and has 4 options for each question of which 1 is correct. The objective of this quiz is to enhance current affairs knowledge for all adults and teachers. These quizzes shall be uploaded in this section so that you can solve them!
